Family of God Christian Fellowship is blessed with the opportunity to support several Mission programs in addition to our weekly Worship Services. Saturdays in Puerto Peñasco find families in various parts of town attending various Worship Services of sorts co-sponsored by Family of God. We partner with Nuevo Nacimiento Church at one such site, The Good News Club. And we partner with Unidad Famliar Church at 4 other sites throughout the city. A great amount of individuals volunteer their time and resources including donations of food items, monetary donations, assistance in preparation of food and serving food and playing with the children and worshiping side by side with the attendees at these "Mission" sites.
Stacey and Steve Myers have committed to coordinate our Mission Efforts as a Church for a year serving as missionaries here in Rocky Point. They work in conjunction with one of our Elders (Rich Graf) who oversees our Mission Efforts as a Church. This faithful couple work alongside other faithful workers (Patti Jennett, Cheryll Notti and David Medina, John and Janet Quigley and Ellen Gray) to coordinate volunteers to assist at these sites every Saturday as well as prepare and serve food at these sites. Unidad Familiar Church, a sister Church here in Rocky Point, provides the teachers and the location for Mision Amor, Mision Mi Paz, Mision San Rafael and Mision Pan de Vida whereas Nuevo Naciomiento Iglesia, another sister Church, provides the same for the Good News Club at another site.
