Family of God / Familia de Dios is blessed with the opportunity to support several regular mission programs in addition to our weekly Worship Services. Saturdays in Puerto Peñasco find families in various parts of town attending various Worship Services of sorts co-sponsored by Family of God. We partner with Nuevo Nacimiento Church at one such site. Additionally, we partner with Unidad Famliar Church at 3 other sites throughout the city. A great number of individuals volunteer their time and resources including donations of food items, monetary donations, assistance in preparation of food and serving food and playing with the children and worshiping side by side with the attendees at these "Mission" sites.
Stacey and Steve Myers have committed to coordinate our Mission Efforts as a Church for a year serving as missionaries here in Rocky Point. They work in conjunction with one of our Elders (Rich Graf) who oversees our Mission efforts. Steve and Stacy, as well as Rich and his incredible wife, Lila, work alongside other faithful workers (Patti Jennett, John and Janet Quigley, Don Delamotte and many others) to coordinate volunteers who assist at these sites every Saturday. Additionally, these volunteers prepare and serve food at these sites.
